  • How to Dispose of Household Hazardous and E-Waste

Some waste is too hazardous to dispose of at home. Bell residents are invited to bring used household batteries, eyeglasses and cell phones to the Bell Community Center for proper disposal. Bell residents can also properly dispose of hazardous waste substances including motor oil antifreeze, batteries, computer equipment, paint, and cell phones free of charge at Household Hazardous and E-Waste Roundups. Free Roundups occur in and around your community regularly. For more information on household hazardous waste or upcoming Roundups, call the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works at 1-(888) CLEAN LA, the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County at 1-(800) 238-0172 or visit www.888CleanLA.com.
